What we collect

Your email address and password, or your Google account when you sign in with it. Your billing details are held by our payment processor, not by us.

What you give the producer: the channel you point it at, your settings, documents and footage in your Library, and — if you record one — your 20-second take, which holds your face and voice.

What the producer makes for you: scripts, clips, voice, films, thumbnails and titles. These are yours.

Google user data

When you connect YouTube, we ask Google for permission to see your channel and to upload and schedule videos on it. We use that access only to publish what you asked us to publish, with the title, description, tags and schedule you can see in the app.

We do not read your comments, your analytics beyond what you can see in the app, or any other Google service. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account; publishing stops the moment you do.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

This site uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can take our access away at any time at Google’s security settings.

YouTube data

We read public channel names, descriptions, pictures, video titles, dates, lengths and counts to study channels and help you plan. We refresh or delete public YouTube data within 30 days. We keep our own measurements and short writing mechanics, not full transcripts or video files.

Google Cloud processes public videos for the channel study by listening to a public video link. We do not download its video or audio. The spoken words are used in memory to measure pace and learn writing mechanics; they are not saved or passed to the script writer.

You can request deletion of your YouTube data through Settings or contact us. We delete Google user data within 7 days of your request, revocation of access or account closure.

How long we keep it

Account data: while your account exists and for 30 days after you close it. After that we keep only the records of payments and of credits used, with no name and no e-mail.

Your take (face and voice), with the whole recording we keep as the record that you agreed: until you delete it in Channel settings, or until you record a new one. While a video is being made with your take, you can delete it as soon as that video is finished or cancelled. Deleting it removes it from our systems within 7 days; videos already made are not changed.

Films and their parts: while your account exists. Download anything you want to keep before you close it. After you close your account, your channels and videos are erased within 7 days.

What we never do

• We never sell your data. The video of your take stays with us. To check your take and to make your videos, we send only what each step needs to the AI services that do that work: still frames from the video, three seconds of the video with its sound, the sound of your voice, and the pictures and speech already made from these. With these they make the pictures, clips and speech of you that your videos use. The voice service keeps a model of your voice for your channel; we delete it there when you delete or replace your take.
• We never use your face, voice, footage or documents for any channel but yours.
• We never download, store or reuse footage, audio or artwork from the channel you point us at. We study how it works; we do not take what it made.
• We never publish to your channel anything you did not queue.
